My forever companion Atlas, my first Great Dane and eternal Golden Girl, has been by my side since she was 8 weeks old. She was destined for greatness in therapy and animal services. Atlas sets the standard for our rescues, and I'm so proud of her prior work in ER therapy and as my service animal after my stroke. She’s more than just a pet –
she’s my lifeline. ❤️🐾

I’m thrilled to share that Kora, my second service dog, has been a game-changer for me. Trained mainly by myself, she’s adapted perfectly to my stroke deficit needs.
Adopted a year after my stroke, she’s been indispensable. She’s also a role model in our rescue program, following in the footsteps of Atlas, who retired from service duties at 7.

Rue's been a handful since day one, but 4 years with her have been worth it. Adopting her at 8 weeks old meant a wild ride of ups and downs, but her growth has shown me the importance of tailored training and patience for reactive dogs. Her progress is a testament to what's possible, and it's fueled my passion for helping other dogs like her find purpose.

Boom Boom was donated to us at 10 weeks old after he was deemed too nice to be a working line police department canine. He is a Belgian Malinois Dutch Shepherd that is going through the training process to make an amazing Service Dog in the near future! He knew right away he was the first boy in the family and destined to be our pack protector.

PRINCE ZUKO
Update: Adopted!
Zuko is a 5 month old Staffordshire Terrier mix that was saved from a unfortunate situation in New Mexico. He is up to date on all vaccinations, and scheduled to be neutered next month. Zuko is going to make an excellent therapy pup and is already trained for grounding techniques as well as basic obedience, crate, and leash training. Zuko will be available for adoption on 6/10/2026.
Walter

Walter is a shepherd mix that was found in a cardboard box outside an apartment with his litter in June. Walter stayed with us for the short time of one month before he found his forever home in Manitou with our neighbors! We look forward to seeing him for play dates and traveling with their band, Patchwork Jack!
Daisy 🌼

Daisy Cakes was rescued from Texas in July, where her whole litter was facing euthanasia at the shelter. She was with us and going through training and doing an amazing job with basics and recall in the last couple months. She is a loving lab mix that found her forever family in the neighborhood.
She is now Maisy!
Huckleberry
Huck is our newest foster and the runt of his litter, weighing less than 10 pounds when he came to us at 11 weeks old. He is getting plenty of meals to get him to a healthy weight and is going to be a very smart and energetic boy with being a Husky and Shepard mix!
