About Companions to Caretakers
Companions to Caretakers is a family-owned rescue dedicated to transforming second chances into lifelong purpose. We rescue and rehabilitate young dogs and puppies, guiding them through our obedience training program designed to develop the skills, discipline, and temperament needed to become top notch pets, ESA, or even service animals, but most importantly; the hope to never have shelter exposure again.
Each rescue will become prepared for all different types lifestyles they may lead. Pups will be potty trained, on and off leash training, crate training, basic obedience, as well as car travel and camping exposure with socialization of other dogs and humans alike. They will then be given a new beginning and is matched with families in need of a loyal, trained companion who can make a meaningful difference in their daily lives through our initiatives.

The Pack
Atlas, Rue, and Kora are the three incredible dogs I’ve been truly blessed to call my own. Each one carries a unique personality and a set of qualities that have helped shape my understanding of what it takes to become a dependable, high-quality service animal.
Through every trial and test, they have risen to the challenge. Together, we’ve faced obstacles, learned patience, and celebrated growth—gaining wisdom and strength with every accomplishment along the way. Their journeys have not only defined them, but have also inspired the mission behind Companions to Caretakers.
